Things to Come

I understand that there are still a few important items to take care of and many of us are getting restless. In the coming days you will see Bebo joining the blog and league. You will also see an official ballot that will determine how we will admit new franchises into our keeper league. Most importantly you will see an invite in your email very soon from Yahoo to our actual league. This means you need to be racking your brain for team names and images. However, I want two things to be set in stone tonight.

1: Draft day will be Saturday Sept 5. The draft will occur at 11 eastern time and will be done in Harper Swinney's basement. We will not be autodrafting any teams. If you can't make it, please make arrangements to be on gmail chat at that time. Unless some emergency occurs, I doubt any owners will be cutting slack for not drafting. Everyone has had plenty of time to respond if that day doesn't work for you....thus I am assuming that it does. Again, you don't necessarily have to be there, but you need to draft your own teams.

2:Since each of us will be forfeiting two rounds of picks prior to the round our keeper is projected, I want to establish exactly which projections we will use. When you create your team name and join the league you will see the "players" tab at the top of the screen. When you click on that tab, there is a list of players. They are in order of their projected pick. You can reorder players based on a # of categories. However, the projection # is the one we will use to determine what round we forfeit. If this is not clear, please let me know.
