The Week 1 Tom Landry Hat Goes To......

Sometimes people wear many hats, but this week, two men share a single hat. Ben and Tyler have had their share of downs and downs in this league's history, but they both came raging out of the gates in Week 1. Ben ensured victory over mighty Taylor by making the savvy play of San Francisco's Defense.

Tyler prevailed in the Commissioner Bowl against John despite having single digit games from Gates, Charles, and Roddy. If Tyler's supporting cast maintains that level of efficiency, then his team will be in outstanding shape. Be wary boys, the renown that comes with earning a Tom Landry hat will only make your opponents prepare harder to try to best you. Have a lovely Wednesday, gents, or as Tyler's fan in the background would tell you, "Peace Out."

  1. That's actually me in the background, with my old-face mask on. I'm holding up 4 fingers because that's how many hamsters Tyler ate in the hamster-eating contest. He won and that's why he's wearing a medal.

  2. Thanks for these award, Brandon. Where did you get that hologram from? I hope things are going well in Charlotte. I guess I have to thank Hernandez, Big Kevin, and Gin for the win. I am glad Tom Landry is dead, though. And Steve is right about the picture. Four gerbils were more than enough. Second place ate none.

  3. I like the hologram, too, Brandon. But I wish you would quit putting them on here, because they make my legs and arms itch.

  4. You know that movie Fargo. That's pretty much me. I've done that.

  5. The hamster eating contest was easily the worst addition to the Man Decathlon we had the day after the draft. Next year we'll go back to the reliable knife-throwing contest.

How about a little recognition for Some Guy for being covered in snow and/or having been created by the Coen Brothers!!!!!!!!

  6. Obviously the guy in the background is suffering from a parallax problem while trying to give bunny-ears to Tyler and Ben. The old-face mask must have disturbed his vision and/or made him go cross-eyed.

  7. If anyone ever tries to give me bunny ears in a picture, I break their fingers...no exceptions.

  8. In theory, that's a good rule, but what if it's your child and/or grandmother and/or someone from Fargo (the movie, not the country).
